Tony Swartz is the founder of Oxford Enterprises and an equity owner in the firm. Tony began his career as a chartered accountant with Arthur Andersen & Co. in South Africa and England. After moving to Canada in the mid 1970’s he worked for a mid-size real estate company and trust that grew significantly in a five-year-period.
Tony’s background and
experience established him as a consultant to a wide array
of financial institutions in restructuring troubled real
estate and corporate loans. He has also consulted directly
with the Canadian government on various trust company
Tony Swartz graduated with honors with a concentration in Accounting from the University of Cape Town.
Justin Swartz joined Oxford Enterprises in January 2013 after having worked for over 6 years at UBS Investment Bank in New York. Justin was a Director in the Power and Cleantech group and executed over $5 billion worth of M&A, debt and equity transactions within North America and Europe.
Prior to UBS, Justin worked at Ernst & Young covering Banking and Capital Markets in New York. His key clients included Nomura, CIBC World Markets and Bank of New York.
Justin is a Certified Public
Accountant in the State of New York and graduated with
honors from Boston University with a concentration in
Finance and from the University of Virginia with a
Master’s degree in Accounting.
Veronica joined Oxford Enterprises in April 2017, bringing with her over 20 years of operations leadership and experience within the multi-family industry. Veronica began her career with Cordary Inc. in Santa Monica California as a Regional Manager of a Commercial/Residential portfolio. Veronica then joined UDR, a REIT with whom she worked with for over 16 years. Holding a Business Management degree from Northlake and her CAPS designation as well as ARM Designation through the Institute of Real Estate Management, Veronica has served on the Board of Directors for the Irving Satellite which is a sub chapter of the Dallas Apartment Association.
Following UDR, Veronica moved to the Lynd Company where she worked closely with the development team and maintained a portfolio of A plus assets which included 3 communities in lease-up, one of which was a high-rise in downtown Austin that obtained the highest rents per square foot in the State of Texas. Veronica’s long-term career experience has been in acquisitions and new community lease-ups and with extensive experience overseeing both interior and exterior renovations.
Harry Stephens joined Oxford Enterprises in February 2016 after having worked for Knightvest Management, U.S. Residential Group, and Anterra Management Corporation.
Harry is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Texas and graduated from University of Texas at Dallas with a concentration in Finance. He is responsible for financial reporting, accounts payable, cash management and all related accounting functions.
